Donors Choose: helping a public school teacher create a play kitchen
As we kick off our 6th year of Santa Clara Sneaky Snacks, we are feeling especially appreciative of the teachers and staff that have generously donated so that we can continue to run our business. Along with enabling us the experience of running a business, Sneaky Snacks allows us to go on career exploratory field trips AND to support charitable organizations. So what would be more fitting to kick off the year than to support a local public school teacher? We selected a Kindergarten teacher who wants to create a play kitchen for her students, so that they can learn "how to share, take turns, communicate with each other and most importantly learn how to solve their own issues." Sounds like what Mrs. Hopp is trying to teach us! We are happy to say that this project has been fully funded and a mini kitchen will soon be in use by these kindergartners. , just click on this link to see what YOU helped make happen:

Their teacher, Mrs. Reynoso said: "My students and I are super excited to get our new kitchen. We have been waiting for our new toys and we appreciate your kind donation. Students in room 3 will now be able to play together and enjoy eating healthy meals together as the family that they are. WE ARE JUMPING WITH JOY."
With gratitude,
Mrs. Reynoso
